I know that the pipe from the ntercooler to the EGR has a very slight boost leak (Been told by the garage last week) but my MPG seems to be all over really. Done the same route i do a lot last night and averaged about 54mpg, then coming home i was getting about 47, sometimes its about 43. Theres no difference in driving or conditions.
Could this be the boost leak? If so could someone point me in the right direction as to which pipe it is or what diameter?
Thanks

Sounds about right I guess. On shorter journies don't expect 50+ mpg. Check the pipe at the rear of the engine bulk head which heads into the inlet manifold. If you have axle stands get her up on them and check all of the joins to and from the IC and turbo.
A boost leak will lead to low MPG but I doubt it would give good and bad MPG. :undecided:

Well 98% of the time its 40-43 and once or twice it has been 50+. Even on long motorway journeys sitting at about 80 in 6th I get about 47, Is that about right?

if you clean the inlet manifold and egr you will see better mpg but 47 at 80 isnt to bad . i get 55mpg on the motorway from my 150

I will have a check over it tomorrow.
I out £50 in a few days a go when the tank was empty and i have got about 320-350 miles. Sounds a bit low to be honest, I do a bit of city driving as well as motorway/dual carriage ways. Put my foot down now and then but not enough to warrant bad mpg. Usually just pottering around at about 50 in 6th.

i get 500+ from a full tank of v power which i think is about right for a well serviced 150. the inlet and egr made a big difference there is loads of info on here about it
