As above i didnt want to admit defeat and add to the ever growing threads of this breed but im stumped and need help !
The noise accurs going round a tight roundabout so nearly full lock it makes the steering wheel judder and sounds hideous ...
I have joms, no adjusters on the rear just the cups with the bushes cut in half, the fronts are the same height with 1 of the 3 buldges of the bumpstops in! The arch to floor height is 61cm
I have a r32 arb with standard links
It didnt do it before i cut the bumpstops and there is no scoring on the driveshaft the only war wounds are slight rubbing on the inside edge of the archliner any ideas ?

Oooohh i did have to change the drivers side outer tie rod end ! I havnt had it tracked yet to adjust the toe in could that minute change cause the wheel to hit the coil somewhere ? There lowly 6.5 et 3? With 10mm spacers

It could be the out cv rubbing on the top of the ball joint
-
But would that do it all the time or just full lock ?
-
Mine mainly did it on full lock or going over slight bumps
-
front drivers side on mine slightly rubs on inside of arch liner but it is ever so slightly and as not caused any wear on tyre or liner perhaps its doing the same on yours dude
-
Its the pass side doing it and cully does yours make the steering wheel rumble abit

when i did mine they said i needed adjustable anti role bar things and put them on and they where rubbing put old one back on and it was working fine ever since that was well over a year ago tho could need the adjustable thing lol
-
Its odd because it didnt do it before i changed the tie rod end on the drivers side and cut the bumpstops

Do a search on faulty joms mate, mine are doing exactly the same thing atm. There's a cap on top of the strut which comes loose. Hard to explain but you'll see what I mean!
