i have bought some bbs wheels to go on my silver mk3 gti and have had them blasted ready for paint, but i am not sure what colour to go for. i was thinking like a darkish grey, kinda like a graphite colour but not really sure what to go for, all i know is i dont really want to go for black. anyone got any snaps of any silver cars with nice alloys? or ideas..

I would have black with silver rims (polished ideally)

Blue.

Check out Ess-Three's silver 16v Anni. He's running BBS RX2 alloys with anthracite centres and silver rims which look awesome.

Cheers lad!!
My centres are classed as 'Steel Grey' powdercoat, with bright silver rims.

This is the anthracite powdercoat (I know it's not silver, or a Mk3)

When your engine looks like his, you might get some praise one day..

what about candy red centre with silver rim

What bbs alloys are they?
The split rims or just plain VR6 ones? If they are then I think gunmetal grey would look best.
If they're the split rims (RX II's or whatever they're called) then grey with silver rim me thinks!

But what you've just said is, something can be boring but if ESS three does it it's cool.
Soon my motor will be pretty

cheers for the replies and ideas, the bbs' are just the multispoke old vr6 one i think not the split ones. i will more than likely be going for a darkish grey powdercoat :)

Sounds like a plan, on a silver car they'll be right. I've done mine in white on my Jazz Blue cc

yh saw your post earlier, although mine are different wheels to yours. i would do white if i had any other colour car tbh, i just dont think white would go with the silver..

Are yours these them then?

I would have preferred these myself as they are what are standard on the CC like mine, and VR6 Highlines, but I paid just £32 for a set of 5 of the standard VR6 ones so I had to have them!!

nah fair enough. i was talking about a set the same as these:
