Ok I'm looking at getting a pot of dodo juice as the purple hase I uses to use on my black mk3 was great.
But now I has a mars red mk2 jetta with non clear coat paint. I was looking at buying a pot of dodo juice orange crush as it is ment to give red paint a good Finnish. Is dodo juice safe to use on non clear coat paint?
All the adds for it say clear coat safe but what about non clear coat paint?

yes that should be fine on your jetta. would recommend a sealant on it though with some UV protection if it is polished up well to help prevent any future oxidisation.

Ok great cheers.
Have never used a sealer before. How does that come and how is it applied?

they come in bottles and sprays and are usually very easy to apply... similar to a wax but have longer durability and form a 'shield'.. the depth of shine isn't always there but you can top it off with a wax if you wish.

Also consider supernatural hybrid which is very easy and economical to apply and gives the best of both worlds being a hybrid it's a sealant and a wax ;) your looking at 6 months plus durabilty and it leaves a great gloss imo.

Ah right cool cheers.
So it's best to apply sealer then the wax then?

same on i4detailing - so depending on postage costs etc you might want to consider that

Dodojuice waxes are nice don't get me wrong but for the price you can get better waxes.

I know i'm a bit late to this one, but if you want a bit of shine, have a go with Meg's No. 7 Show Car Glaze, it can work wonders on reds with no clearcoat  Then your preferred wax over the top

if you do use this then be careful how you apply it.. NEVER in direct sunlight as it can be VERY difficult to remove.
