Right lads I've got white smoke pumping out of the back of the car looked in the engine bay and there's no smoke coming from there ??? Please help, needing to get back to camp on Sunday :(

Turbo :undecided:

White smoke is water or condensation.
Blue/black is oil burning
White smoke on idle or underboost?
My Bora usually idles with with smoke but has done since owning the car. Iv put it down to water or condensation up the exhuast.

Well I put in the oil catch can install this morning... Then after 20 miles it stared to smoke... I'm not under boosting, but it seems to happen when lifting off the throttle

Have you got one of the pipes trapes from catch can ?? I have done tho and was cacking it :)
-
Tge pipe going from the T piece down to the L sHape pipe has a slight kink in it, could that cause this drama??
-
changing my turbo in my AGU because of this reason  mine takes about 15 mins of driving to stop the white smoke, ive had it checked over by a mechanic and its the turbo seals going apparently, so its giving me an excuse put a KO3s in  but mine has been doing it a while now so it wil be fine just isnt running right :)

no a slight kink would not cause any problems like that mate mine as got a slight kink and as done since i fitted my catch can
when you take your foot off boost does it give a cloud of smoke if it does it could be your stem seals

Wellive put it back to the way it was befor and no smoke, not even a hint, think I'm just going to leave the catch can for now :(

We dont need a catch can . Are intercoolers,or is it oilcooler does that. :nerd: we just need a bolt in the bottom of the intercooler like a sump bolt.
