Hi
Has anyone embossed the GTI in the headrests to match the red stitching on the steering wheel/handbrake/gearstick ?
I can't decided whether it would look cool or naff. I like the idea of having it done but really need to see what it would look like first......

No as I never paid enough attention during home economics at school

Can't say I've seen it done....

Unless you know a seamstress, way tooo much effort for such little result. You would only see it for a split second before the back of your head hits it.
I understand the need for 'everything possible to be in red' but this is probably not worth it

Agree with Red, when I first took delivery of my GTD I search around and got in contact with various company's to see how much it wud cost to have GTD etched into the seats and they were on about re-upholstering, money wasn't worth it tbh...

Just googled it and it's described as:
'Home economics' is a field of formal study including such topics as consumer education, institutional management, interior design, home furnishing, cleaning, handicrafts, sewing, clothing and textiles, commercial cooking, cooking, nutrition, food preservation, hygiene, child development, managing money, and family relationships.
Basically most things my wife does

I made a poor apple crumble (yes, I'm still that bad in the kitchen) but my mum, bless her, said she loved it. Naturally my sibling told me the harsh truth !
