Title: 2001 golf mk4 20v turbo running rough

1st thing in the morning for about 3 a 4 mile it runs rough then goes ok any idea wot it is, is had new plugs

Are you sure it's got the correct spark plugs in it and that they're not past it in terms of condition?

tested all coils seem ok, no codes r cumin up,coughs n splutters 1st thing then goes ok, but noticed tonite it feels like a missfire wen in the car on tick over and rev counter move a little,when i bought the car a checked the maf and found out it was off a tdi, so picked up a cheap one off flea bay and fitted it, any ideas. its a aum engine code, new plugs fitted bosh super 4,

is the MAF a Bosch one?
have you tried it without the MAF plugged in to see if its better, just unplug the wire at the top and see how it runs, if no different chances are its the MAF

i had this on my aum couple weeks back :cry:      i cleaned my throttle body and it has cured it  :smug:
