Break pad warning or low fluid.

If its the rears I'd say low fluid. Weird it coming on after fitting new pads though.

Ye il check the fluid after work, but i dont see how it keeps coming up considering there brand new pads & discs and they work as they should

Sorry if asking silly question, but you sure the sensor was plugged back in correctly when changing pads???
Only cause I had that problem, but for me it was because cable had snapped!!!

no pad warning on rears. The seals on the rear banjo fitting are prone to leaking on the mk4. I had to replace seals on both sides of mine with copper washers.  Check for leaks , excess pedal travel
