Post by: Koose on 02 September 2012, 14:42
Hi guys n gals,

I have a coolant rail running up over the gearbox/right hand of engine, it goes to one of the rubber matrix pipes and also incorporates a plastic hose carrier clip on it., Its rotten as a peach, its alot like this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/METAL-WATER-COOLANT-PIPE-for-Seat-Volkswagen-/280791560819?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AGolf&hash=item41607b3273

I had the same problem with my GTI, a new pipe was £50 direct from VW - none of the ones on Ebay were quite the same, and they are engine-specific.
