Title: Andre Villas Boas
Post by: MS1COYS on 01 September 2012, 20:13
Well I'm Spurs through and through. But I've streamed every game so far and I've got to say this geezers a f**king numpty.

A chelsea reject, whose team went on to lift the F.A Cup and C.L after he f**ked off and for some reason we've ended up with him!

Anyone care to share the opinions, please carry on....

Im not a spurs fan but i do like watching them and like to see them do well and iv got to say i was gutted to see Harry go would have been interesting to see what he'd have done in the transfer market this summer. Im not the biggest AVB fan but its early days and i think he needs to have time he's made some okay signings but are these the kind of players that are going to get you back into the top 4 again?

My only worry is AVB seems to be making similar baffling decisions he was making at Chelsea

Luckily i think its wide open after city and United for 3rd and 4th Arsenal look poor Chelsea havnt been tested yet and i think they will falter soon.

I bet not as much as I did when King Kenny had such a wonderful campaign last season

Harry has just tipped Spurs to finish top four this season.....god I love that dreamer!

Its basically his young age and inexperience behind his failure for Chelsea and his poor start (imo) for Spurs. I'm not a fan of either team, so can look at it from a neutral perspective. Hes been criticized for his poor man management, and that says it all. Its a team game, and as a manager and supervisor, you have to realise that you cant see, and dont know (especially with his age and tactical inexperience) everything. It seems like its his way or the highway, and he wont take advise from his team and staff. Its fine if you make the wrong decision sometimes, but you need to admit your own mistakes, and learn from it. He seems more intent on passing the blame on to everyone else, and being left behind because of his own stubborness. This is why he lost the dressing room at Chelsea, and it'll be the same at Spurs if he doesnt change his ways pretty sharpish. Imo anyway.

You're bang on mate.

Because his high defensive line worked at a very pacey Porto side, he thinks he can implement it in British football. Unfortunately anyone who knows a slither about the EPL, knows that for the most part, the pace of the game won't allow it, on top of the fact that none of the teams in the EPL can play keep ball.

Couple that with the fact he's using Gallas and Vertonghen, probably the two slowest centre backs in the league and you're facing a massive uphill struggle, before you've even started! He did exactly the same with Terry and Luiz at Chelski and naturally it flopped worse than my cock after I've taken ecstasy.

Spurs' transfer policy really pissed me off the other day. We missed out on Moutinho because it would have meant paying him an extra £5k a week to supplement his third party ownership fees, f**k all really when you think about it, especially after we've saved £15k a week getting rid of Dos Santos (finally).
And according to a friend of my fathers, Mel Bernstein, (a football agent who works for a Russian football club) Spurs lost out on Loic Remy and Yann M'Vila because they wanted £60k+ a week.....so f**king what, look at all the top clubs and £60k's a drop in the ocean, Jesus I mean we paid Redknapp £55k a week to be a manager! Worse still, Jay Bothroyd gets £40k a week at QPR, yes that's right, QP bloody R, of all teams!

Daniel Levy is a thingy and needs to find the balance between running Spurs as a business and running Spurs as a football team. How can we compete with the other top teams, when we won't spend?

Look at Utd's forward players, RVP, Rooney and Hernandez earn £550k a week and up until a week ago that was £610k a week, because of Berbatov. Chelsea have Torres, Hazard, Sturridge, Mata, Malouda that stacks up to £560k a week and least but by no means last look at the old 'blue mooners' themselves, Man City, Balotelli, Dzeko, Aguero, Tevez, Cruz, Nasri, Silva, between them a massive £900k a week!

Sort it out Levy!

Looks like it will be back to the old "three point lane" like it was before Harry

Indeed, European Champions 2012!

Seriously, though I think he will be gone by Christmas along with the guy who left a good job in Wales
AVB sucked last year, and to think we dumped Ancelotti for him

Now how long till  someone will be along to tell me how many cups Liverpool won all those years ago :lipsrsealed:

I feel sorry for Joey Allen. On MOTD he was throwing his hands down by his sides in frustration after his passes because the receiver did feck all with it/lost the ball.

I must say I did enjoy Hansen's review of Liverpool's new winger, Glen Johnson.

That Diabe chap for Aresenal looks a winner.

As much as it pains me to say it, Abou Diaby is a fantastic player, very Viereaesque.

...and that's just the European cups, I haven't even started on the league winner titles yet.

I'm hoping that Liverpool will do what Spurs did last year and come good after a dismal start. In fact, it was that bad for Spurs I had a bet with a Spurs fan at work that we'd be above them at the end of the season, cost me £40 in the end. What a n0b !  Anyway, with all that firepower in front of goal that we have it's only a question of time before we get out of the relegation position.

Nowt wrong with Liverpool, in fact I support British football as a whole and support Chelsea as it was my local team when growing up.
I do however hate Barca and the lets lick Messi's balls crowd, yawn.

Nobody's hating on the Pool he dude, you've got your wires crossed. Come on Gibby help me out  I have to say though, if you can't appreciate how Barca play the beautiful game, then you can't be a real football fan. They're probably the best team you're ever likely to witness in your lifetime.....

There's no hating going on only banter. :afro: I like the way Barca play but I think I've seen a better team in my lifetime ! The Brazil team of the 1982 world cup were unbelievable. They had everything. Look on Youtube for them, Zico, Eder, Socrates, Falcoa. Awesome.

pretty laughable as actually italy won the cup, however the most dominating teams i have seen have been liverpool of the early 80s and notts forest of same era, pretty much the reason english teams got banned after heysel when it was proved that the stadium/authorities were substandard. prettiest football was brasil of 1970
