Title: MK4 headlight bulb upgrade.
Post by: Payney on 31 August 2012, 11:35
Hi guys i realise this has probably been done to death but i had to get a new drivers side lamp the other week as it imploded on the way to work. Me and my mate removed my bumper etc and changed the light over and during testing he noticed both my sidelights were out. So he replaced the dead bulbs with LED sidelights. Long story short i now have two different coloured lights visible at night, the LED sides and the halogen dipped.

So basically i've been looking at bulb upgrades and seem to be swaying towards Osram nightbreakers but i've also eyed up a HID kit. However as these kits are becoming MOT fails i can't decide wether to just upgrade my dipped, main beams, and fogs to xenon upgrades or go for HID.

All opinions welcomed.
