Title: VW GOLF MK4 .. HELP NEEDED

Hey dubbers my cousin has got a golf mk4 2.0 & it has 2 problems

The first was it kept stuttering so we cleaned the throttle body & it sorted it for 2-3 weeks but now its doing it again :S

Second problem is the coolant needs topping up atleast once a month, I have a mk4 turbo but never had these problems, would appreciate any advice .. cheers

Engine code?

Done any scans / logs?

Posible coolant leak, head gasket

Hiya nope never done any scans just wanted to see if anyone has had these problems especially in a 2.0 gti or how to solve them before I take it to a garage.. cheers

get someone local to scan it for beer tokens befor it goes into a garage where you will have your pants pulled down!!!

Well I must say I'm surprised no one pounced yet lol
The 2.0 is shall we say not the best gti and will most certainly have more problems than your turbo try the search at top mate  :wink:
