is there any reasons to put an aftermarket exhaust on a dti, ie power gain, noise, fuel eco would an exhaust make any diffrence?

Decat pipe will help release a few extra lbs ft torque and a couple of BHP. Helps with the sound too

Is a decat pipe something a normal 'fitter' could just make up for me?

Or, should I be looking at buying ready made. Not really looking to replace any other part of the OEM systems currently installed, so I guess i'm looking for a decat that will fit.

Is this possible?

A decent exhaust place should be able to knock something up or look at the ready made offerings from THS Performance or Milltek

THS one comes with adaptor sleeves

Smash a miltek decat on it. Fits perfecet, bar the reducer you need and gives it a distinct exhaust note

Abouts £160 IIRC, but worth it, you can definitely feel the difference!
