Title: Electric Seats
Post by: Chris619 on 05 July 2005, 21:40
I got some electric front seats in my Valver but they arn't wired up at the monent. I think the seats came from the G60 or rallye but not really sure.

How easy are they to wire up. do they just plug in to the fuse box or do i need to find another live feed for them.

Here's a pic of them, so hopfully someone could please tell me what car they came from.

No there not heated. But the wireing should be straight forward, as long as i know where to plug them into.

all they need is a positice and negative feed as far as i remember. i had a set for about a week before selling them on for a tidy profit! nice seats though, they came in all sorts, not just g60's. the set i had came out of a standard, small bumper 8 valve!

There a top quality seat much nicer than standard and worth a pretty penny too! Looks like yours are in good nick too. The wiring is simple enough. you should find a spare live kicking around near your fuse box. i found one which the connectors matched up and plugged straight in. Then just earth the other wire to any bare metal chassis point and your away. Hopefully the motors wont have seized.
