Title: Opinions Please ?
Post by: Adz Gti on 29 August 2012, 04:56
Right, next month im going to start my mods, im gathering info on the major parts i will need first, im going for the Forge 007p, forge tip, and what im stuck on is what induction kit to buy.

I just saw this :

http://www.psituning.com/product.php/19140/ecs_xas_cold_air_intake_system___1_8t_150_180_2_0_8v

Any good ?

Or is the Carbonio a better option

My coilovers should be on mid september along with rear axle spacers with the help from Ian

Suggestions would be nice

whitline rear anti role bar, £177ish with droplinks delivered, front S3/TT mk1 anti role bar with associated goodies ie bushes etc you can pick up from Audi for about £150. according to Audi the thicker the diameter of the rear bar will add between 10-20% strength to the handling. i think i've worded that write  :undecided: but if unsure just give your local dealer a call, they about 500% more helpful than VW, i spoke to parts desk and my local VW and asked about the R32 role bar and drop links and they started arguing with me that i shouldnt do it because it wont fit etc etc, Audi then went against what VW said and told me with a few tweeks it can be done  i was a wreck at the end of it

That's not the r tech I'm on about
And spendin £250 on a induction kit is a stupid when the same gain can be made much cheaper
