Does anyone know what these wheels are called? I've seen them on a few golfs but not many. I've been thinking of getting them for my colour concept to replace the standard 5 spokes that are currently on there, I think these look better. What do you think?

i think these were the early gti wheels

i thought the early gti wheels were le mans? :undecided:
-
They are early 16v wheels.
Monte Carlo, I think they are called.
Only fitted for a year or two, before all GTIs got Longbeaches.
-
What do you think they will look like on my 97 gti? Make it look older, or an improvement on the standard 5 spokes?
-
Tbh I think they look
-
I like them.... on an early 16v.
-
monte carlo found on early mk3 gti's though i have seen on a few later mk3 golf's.....
-
They'd look ok in anthracite and super clean.
-
If I get some I would refurbish them, I wouldn't leave them looking rough.
-
They're not for me that's for sure.

not my cup of tea either, not enough GTI about them. I'm also not a big fan of the Lemans one either, my flatmate recently sold a MK3 on a K plate and they just looked a bit low rate.
