Title: Cat c damage
Post by: Dsport on 27 August 2012, 11:12
Some of you may know that my anniversary was Cat c it was stolen recovered in 2009,
The condition of the car was immaculate and I knew 1st to see would buy, but couldn't even get the phone to ring even dropping the price to £2400, a few year ago a cat c or d If repaired properly was know as a bargain but now it seems to be a stigma,
I won't have another no matter how cheap
Just wondered what other s views were on this

If you know what you're buying and you pay the appropriate price I don't see it as a problem

If you buy one unknowingly (like my dad did) it can be a problem...

i think your problem is with it been a anni most people who buy them want a super clean car thats had no smashes or even paint work or any engine work. want full vw history and that. to me sounds like a bargin price! if i was buying a mk4 id be snaping your hand right off.
