Hi
I get my GTI on Saturda. I will be using Werkstatt sealant on the bodywork - the car is candy white.
What do you guys recommend for the Monza alloys ? I was toying with Rimwax.
Poorboys and Wolfs Rimshiels have both been recommended to me.
i really want the whells to be as shiny as possible
Thanks in advance
Mark

Fk1000p layered up is my go to wheel protection, durable stuff and can withstand the heat from the brakes.

I use PB...

CG Jetseal 109

I'm going to throw it out there and say that they will only look really shiny just after cleaning them. As soon as dust etc gets on them they will look not shiny. Just use any such wheel sealant and keep them washed regualary.

Thankyou guys especially Mr GTD for the pics.
Got to say I am loving that tyre dressing - what is it ?

There a few before during afters of PB Wheel sealant in that link.
Tyre dressing is over rated IMO. A day later and you wouldn't know you put it on. Only really for show cars I feel. :undecided:

No worries pal...
To wash my car/wheels I use this (http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/index.php?app=ecom&ns=prodshow&ref=mnxtgcs)
and to dress the tyres I use this (http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/index.php?app=ecom&ns=prodshow&ref=metg) I pour a bit into a tub and use a paint brush to apply....i find the megs has a lot better durability.

Thanks again Mr GTD.
I'm glad that your the tyre dressing in the Meguires - I ordered some on Saturday  Do you find that the tyre dressing splats over the car more by applying by brush ? I was going to apply with a sponge but I am really impressed with the results you got.
Thanks for the replies in general guys

I've just started using Megs endurance and really like it, i apply with the megs applicator sponge which gives a nice even coat.
@MrGTD, it looks like you've got a bit too much on there mate? It's running from the top.

Yeah after taking that pic I looked at it and noticed that there was some runs so I simply dabbed it with a sponge and all was well again, good spot Jimble...

Don't you just hate how the brake discs go rusty so quick?!

For me the Megs tyre gel gives it a tacky, greasy look if you use too much.
I've just tried this http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/swissvax-pneu-cat15.html and it's good stuff, pricey but excellent stuff

Yes heard good reviews about that Swisswax...and I think if your prepared to spend £25K plus on a golf then £19 isn't that bad...

Jetseal 109 as a sealant, great stuff and also use it on the chrome tailpipes.
A foam applicator I find is the best and easiest way to apply your tyre dressing.
