Title: Golf 4 GTI - Accelaration Issues
Post by: lurendrin on 26 August 2012, 11:05
Hi Guys

I have a 2003 Golf 4 GTI 132kw.

I noticed that sometimes when driving, mostly in first or second gear, while I'm accelerating slowly the power drops all of a sudden. It is a slight power/ acceleration drop but the revs don't change although i can feel the power has dropped. If i carry only accelerating and changing gears the car drives as normal but this slight power drop while accelerating is slightly worrying. Anyone with experience of this?

Also, some morning when i start the car the revs fluctuate up and down quite a bit, sometimes feels like its about to stall but comes right after a few minutes. Although the first minute after this the car drives slightly jerky/ shaky.
