Title: Front speaker size late cabby

Hi Folks,

Anyone know what size the front speakers are on a late cabby 91in fact.

These are the round ones in the door pockets.

not sure of the original size but i had 20cm speakers in mine which i didnt have to modify the door cards for so that size or a slight bit smaller is my guess.

a quick measure of the speaker cover leads me to believe that they are 5" in diameter - with the separate component tweeters further up the door card

i was sure i had my originals somewhere after I put my rainbows in but i would have to dig them up - they weren't that great tbh

i'm going to revise that to 5.25" as that seems the most popular available choice and it is these I believe which I have in my car..

Brilliant,

will get looking into why mine aren't working.
Think it's the speakers themselves as the tweeters still work, so I assume that the audio is going out from the stereo, mind you nothing would surprise me with this car lol.

check the connections and the wiring through the door i guess would be a first point of call

i can have a look and see if I can see my old ones but i think they stumbled into the bin of shame
