Peeps! :rolleyes:
Can anyone tell me which is the correct breather hose to pull off when following GVK m/sports instuctions?? Also do you completely block the airbox funnel at the front.
Any other advice please add as you see fit!

No body point me in right direction???
Had a fiddle over the weekend, and must admit I've got it running a boit better, doesn't stink of petrol as much when waiting at junctions etc...

I have always undone the jubillee clip ( if fitted) and removed and plugged the breather hose at the block (as there is a small elbow on the breather hose which pushes on to the underside of the inlet manifold which would affect the Co readings ) rather than just pull the hose off at the airbox.
( I assume you are talking about the ' KR ' 16V engine ) :huh:

yeh its a kr engine, sorry for being thick where does the hose run from and too, there is that many hose that could be "breather " that I'd like to be sure.

Runs from next to the oil filter to the inlet! should have another samaller pipe going to it also!

Yeh I've found it revs drop when its unplugged!!! Ha ha!! :smiley: :smiley:
Hopefully I've got it set up now so will see what its like going to work 2moro - will report back!!!

Also in the instructions it talks about unpluging the famous red wire from the coil. Is this the one that has a clear connector and the wire splits into 2 at one end?

Oh Right! Theres a possibility that I've disconnected the wrong one then!! I'm getting there!!
I need to have another look tonight anyway cos it hunting when decelerating!!!

the only "famous red connector" I can find is one the has 1 red/black in and 1 red/black out. I don't seem to have one that splits into 2 on one side??? :huh:
Its running nice now but it smells fairly rich, is this how its supposed to be???
Any suggestions???
I may have to resort to taking it to a garage to stick it on their gas analyser and find out its CO!!

looking at the front of the airbox
the breather hose runs from the back right hand corner of the actual airbox lid (not the intake pipe) to the front of the block beside the oil filter.
the isv connector is the white plastic connector with the red wire up at the coil - there only is one with a white plug
when you disconnect the isv you will hear the engine note change - assuming your isv is working!!

Yes then I had disconnected the right one!!
Anyway, it was still running like a bag of sh!t, so as it was in the garage anyway I got hime to set up the mixture for me.
He told me it was miles out on CO and the hydro-carbons were very high, anyway it is adjusted and runs sweet now!
