Title: Diesel center section on 1.8t

Ive done abit of searching but theres no deffinite answer does it make it any louder or not and is it worth £10 and the hassle of changing it ?

i would think it would make it a bit louder.im going to do mine as its a cheap mod

Get it from ecp with 30% off its £9 something its an easy cheap mod IF your clamps aint foobard

tiny bit louder, not a great deal though. it does change the noise a bit and sounds strange on cold start on an AUM with the SAI running.

Main reason I fitted mine was for ground clearance, I was forever smashing my centre box on things and the tdi centre section cured that totally.

Hmmm atleast its only £10 not like im spending £££ then not liking it ! Any chance you could get a video up ? Do you have a completely standard system bar the midsection then ?

No vids mate, car is long gone I'm afraid. was stage 1 AUM with 224bhp, 3'' downpipe, tdi centre section onto std back box.  Made quite a cool sound to be honest, almost like a ripping noise like the focus RS when on boost!
