Post by: toby2can on 22 August 2012, 20:28
hi, did have a search but couldnt find anything about fitting a arb on a 1.8 turbo 52 plate. is it hard to do or could someone with basic knowledge that has already fitting coilovers or is it best to let a expert do it?

^^^ FAIL

He's asking how to fit a ARB not what ARB to fit

If you can do coilovers you can do a ARB. You have to lower the rear of the sub frame (or take it off completely) to slide it in and out apart from that its not to bad

As Steve said, if you've fitted your coilovers, you can swap an ARB no trouble. it's just a simple unbolt - bolt up job, just take your time and note everything that you do.

And make sure you get them bolts up tight again as If they are even slightly loose it can create Knocks!
