Title: powee steering fluid

Got a very small leak. going to fix next month when i have money.

but in the mean time. how do i top it up. i know were to fill from (the black box with the lid on, think its green) but do i have to do anything speshal or cab i just tip a bit offpower steering fluid in? Cheers

Just tip a bit of fluid in and wipe of any spillages.

Wheres it leaking from?

Nope one of the pipes has a tiny split (and i men tiny. Thought it was leaking very slowly about 6months ago but wasnt sure and its taken 6 months for it to go down to the level were ide need to top it up again). thought that might be the case but wasnt sure so thought ide check

make sure you use the correct fluid, not just any generic ps fluid, vw one is a bit different.

you sure its the pipe and not the union to the ps pump, very common place where they leak and can be cured by just nipping it up a bit

think so. will have a double check tonight. (Havent had chance to do it. long shifts at work)

Also what is the specific fluid i need. (Have some and im 99.9999% sure its the right stuff but want to double check) think its the same stuff as vw just without there badge
