I did this a few days ago, it works on software 402x and V8 maps, just download the ISO file in the link, rip to a CD/DVD and load into the car, i had to do a reset of the system with the disk in to get it to load as i was getting a software downgrade, it then loaded and alls well and working.

Funny you shud say that, I was on the dual carriageway the other day and I had the Simpsons movie on and a plod bike came off the slip road and followed/stayed behind me for a good while and I just simply just changed it to radio, just in case...he probably just check the reg ect and wanted to see how I wud react with him hehind me, needless to say he soon went past me and carried on his way...
-
It's great for when in traffic lol...
-
That would be the worst time if you ask me, stopping and starting.
Even just glancing at the radio can be awkward at those times. I wonder if that is why most manufacturers have now put those pop up screens on top of the dash?
I wonder if that will be a feature on the new Golf?
-
I've just asked a member of the plod and he reckons the worst you'd get is a fine, so I wouldn't worry too much.

No points??
-
He just reckoned a fine on spot fine or even just a producer? I'd just plead total innocence and say that it was like it when ya got the stereo and then promise to put it right
-
Or you could quicky remove the DVD
