To be fair, that's a curtain side trailer, so the only weight on the car is the contents, which is much lighter.

So his "miraculous" survival was quite expected.

Hence why I only said it reminded me of it.  However, just because it's curtain side doesn't mean it hasn't got something hard and heavy inside it, but it would take a lot to beat a solid truck full of gravel.

Its alright saying its just a curtain sider but when the curtains are shut with a ratchet and then has the retaining straps shut that curtain becomes solid. I have seen tonnes of stuff hanging out of one of those curtains and the curtain stretchea but will not rip or flex. This would be like being hit by a solid trailer if secured properly.

Curtains on uk hgv's are designed to take 2 tonnes of weight without ripping.
