Right ppl, hopefully some of you can help me with a few things.
I have a K04 charge pipe on my golf (runs down the drivers side of the engine) and it is VERY close to the injector rail fuel pipes and I mean 2mm clearance max, so what would be the best thing to do to move it away from the charge pipe / protect the pipes, I dont really want to cover anything in any fire retardent (right word  ) material because itll look rubbish.
I also have the S3 inlet manifold so TB on the opposite side, I am trying to source the K04 charge pipe brackets, everyone only has the one at the back of the engine and not the one at the side...
I am also using a make shift pipe from the turbo onto the K04 charge pipe, does anyone know what the sizing is as I am only using a K03 at the moment, soon to be a K03s.
any help is very much appreciated.
Cheers

Got any pics to help us out a bit?
Pretty sure the charge pipe injector issue is because IIRC the K04 engined car's fuel rail had a slightly different end so it didn't clash with the charge pipe.
Can help you out with the top of turbo pipe though (assuming I have the right part in my mind) it's 51mm. A 51 - 63 adapter should see the turbo linked to the charge pipe.

No but I will get one tomorrow and post so people can give me their opinions
Is the K03 and K03s 51mm then?
-
The outlet on the top of the turbo that the hotside pipework runs off is 50/51mm. I used a 51mm pipe for my FMIC install.

sorry to resurrent this, but does anyone know what size the other end of the K04 charge pipe is? as in the side that would connect to the IC
Thanks

If it's the pipe that runs off the turbo and down the drivers side of the engine (on an S3) then it's 63mm.
(This pipe - (http://www.thewellings.co.uk/audi-sport/other/charge_pipe.jpg) )
Or at least the 63mm pipe I had fitted on it fine.

Yeah thats it but I'm talking about the bit where your finger is not the turbo side

Pretty sure its the same bore at both ends..
