Hi lads,
Thought you'd be interested in this... I had the pleasure of visiting the VW Autostadt over the weekend in Wolfsburg. Oh my god, it is a fantastic day out, anyone on here would love it !
Anyway, loads and loads of cars on display obviously, and I took a few snaps... here's an ED 35... I really liked the half-leather seats, they were comfy!:

Yeah I thought the seats were lovely. And the leather had the red stitching... nice touch.
The trainers were cool... but could you wear them in public, I wasn't sure
-
I wonder if you can still order the ED35 (in the UK)...

I prefer those seats to full leather in terms of looks and feel of alcantara after having them in the Pirelli

Thanks for sharing the pictures.
I think you made the right decision not buying the trainers..... I know my mates would rip in to me if I wore those out down the pub

Posting a pictures of the seats the UK drivers wished they had was very cruel

My mates think I'm 'affected' enough as it is, I don't need to give them any more ammunition!

Easy to find them - they're in the VW lifestyle / accessories shop in Wolfsburg if you fancy a trip over!!
-
Actually found a pair online. Considering buying them. Go with the interior on my car. Lol
-
LOL You may as well go the whole hog and get an anorak and matching tartan cap!

I can thoroughly recommend to any VW/car fan.
I only hope they allow UK customers to pick up their cars in time for the mk7 GTI.

Really wished the uk spec had stuck with the alcantara seats too. I've mentioned it before, we should do a convoy trip to Wolfsburg next spring.

Couldnt do the anorak and cap! Wouldnt mind a vest tho!

Place looks great thanks for tip.
I agree seats look great however I have kids so leather is the best option for durability and ease of cleaning.
GTI trainers would be great for my kids but not for me.
