I have bought Golfedd's old set up and the plan is to get it fitted this Sunday by a couple of mates.

What would be really helpful is if someone can give me an idea of what parts I need to get this bolted up onto mine [y]
From what I understand so far (thank's to another member) I just need to get some S3 Track rod ends?
Can anybody confirm and give me a list of parts needed.
Any help would be great

looks like you've already got the track rod ends in that pic! Unless they need replacing, when they need to be S3 ones and not just mk4 ones of course.
What are you doing about the ARB? your current ARB will no longer bolt up to the wishbones.
Do you have ARB tabs on your front struts / coilovers? Ideally you'll need an S3 front ARB and drop links as well.
parts wise, you shouldn't need much else, steering rack connections are a straight swap over, perhaps new subframe bolts, and PSF but that's about it

Really appreciated the reply
Hmm assuming it came straight off another mk4 I'm sure your right
In terms of ARB I'm not running one at the moment as I'm looking at getting brackets made up for my Air stuts or going for a Whiteline ARB.
I'm going to be replacing the Bolts for good measure so sounds like I have everything needed
Really looking forward to get this all fitted!

Sorry what is the PSF?
And guessing I don't need bearings being replaced either?

PSF = Power steering fluid

I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback once it is fitted, it's something that I have considered in the past.

Ah nice, was doing my head in trying to work that one out

I will update when it's all done and fitted, everyone raves about them so they can't be too bad haha
Can anyone confirm if I need to get some new bearings whilst swapping everything over?

it's your call mate. Your cv joints will fit into the bearings on the S3 hubs no trouble, so it's not NEEDED, it's just a case of if you're happy running used bearings. I threw mine straight on and didn't have any problems at all.
I run this whole setup on my track car and it's brilliant.

Awesome, thanks Prawny.
Bring on Sunday
