Title: oil leak

 :sad:hi could anyone help me ? have just bought a 88 gti cab and i discovered a oil leak which appears to be coming from a manifold bolt ! have tightened up but no joy , is this possible? and could it be a faulty gasket???

Won't be coming from the manifold... Check the rocker cam cover gasket as that is likely to be leaking from the back, then down to your manifold.

Cheers mate that's what I thought! But looking at r b cover gasket can't see any faults ? Will try. New one ???
