Title: Which vacuum pipes?
Post by: mrapoc on 21 August 2012, 11:23
Hello.

I am desperately trying to narrow down my overboost issue. Starting back at the cheapest end - I have already replaced the piping but this was before the overboost issue.

Anyway, it may be that the piping I got either collapses under vacuum/heat or whatever. Can someone recommend some piping that will definitely be up for the job - 3mm and 4mm isn't it? Also what length have people gotten?

Thanks

Surely vacuum piping is just vacuum piping and will most likely to be able to handle most pressures as long as it is securely fitted.

Just get some 3/4mm stuff of egay. Cheap and cheerful. Did the trick for me
