ok as of next weekend i will most likely have a new car but also a set of teledials and adaptors. so before i start looking at buying banded steels or anything and sell the teledials i was thinking i may put the adaptors to use and sell the teledials if i find a set of porsche wheels i like. but i have no idea about porsche wheels so has anybody got any pics or advice on nice porsche wheels that work well on the mk3?

also where do you take alloys to get them polished?
-
imo Design 90s aka D90s as seen on kells mk3, or 928s can look ok as well
D90s

There's a guy on edition 38, known as mike the polisher. He's meant to be very good with polishing
type in google, mike the polisher, you'll find him

Cheers mate I have emailed him.
Looks likely I will be getting the teledials from DUBboi12
Just trying to do my homework on the wheels as they are 15" teledials but the rears have a dish but the fromts are the total opasit with the centres poking write out and the rims go in. Been trying to find out if they came off a Porsche like that or if they are a miss matched pair.
The fronts I have found out are early teledials but when ever I type that in to google I get pics of all 4 wheels with the centres poking out. So I think somebody has put a pair of dished teledials with a pair of early centre poke teledials but I could be wrong. Anybody got any info on this?
these are what the front ones look like. but the rears are a little bit deep dish.

I think the dished ones are from the rare early 944 turbo and the others are from the later 944. They should be the same front and back so as you say someone has mixed them.
Thats what my porsche nut Dad says anyway
-
ah right cheers i cant find a pic anywhere of them strange fronts ones on a porsche.
these are the actual wheels in question. cant really make out proply but the fronts are the same as one ones in pic further up this thread and the rears have abit of a dish. they kinda look like they are ment to be together but not at the same time

Porsche rims are usually staggered
my D90s were 6" fronts and 8" rear, i had to buy 2 sets to get the 4 x 8" that i wanted
-
yeah but if you look they are also a diferant style teledial. the fronts dont have that curve between the holes. the rears look like normal teledials to me and the fronts very early ones i recon
-
I have always had a soft spot for the 928's but in polished finish.
-
D90's or 928's......
-
fronts and rears will have different offsets but the style should be the same. Pretty sure the dished ones are off an early 944 turbo, googeling around for pics it seems quite common on a golf to mix them and put the dish on the rear so should be pretty easy to find another set of mixed ones and match them back up if you wanted though it could be tricky finding the right offsets

I think they would look pretty good as a set and would be poss interested in them if u decide to sell mate

I had 928's on mine until a few days ago
they sit so right on the rear but my fronts had a strange ET so sat to tucked for my liking (only had 20mm adapters too)
Everyone talks of mk3's on 928's yet i rarely see them anywhere!!
