Hi guys
Its hard for me to explain my difficulty, but maybe somebody here knows this inside out.
Iv put vento headlights into my RHD golf, and the driver side seemed to plug straight in with a D shaped attatchmemt and they work fine on all settings.
The problem i have is the passenger side headlight has asmall lead attatched that has 4 cables that match up to blade conections on the rear of the light unit
The blades are in a vertical line and have diferent coloured wires visible that lead to a loom at one end, and at the end im dealing with iv got these 4 coloured wires and no way of knowing which one goes to which blade!
Mystified i am.
Anyone got the technical knowledge on this if i provide more detailed info?

Either that or get the old multimeter out

Actually got a helpfull response. Cheers fella.

I already have the plug shown here from eurowagons, but its the blade conections im having trouble with.
There in a certain order from top to bottom, and the cables to them must have to be in a certain order, so its a case of matchinf them up according to colours.
This is where im baffled

Use a multimeter or
Each colour on the eurowagens bit matches the inside of the headlight btw. E.g. Yellow cable runs to either the dipped or full beam.

I think i get that. So i'll have a good look in daylight tmorow. Hopefully i'll hav sussed it out then. Fingers crossed. Surely it cant be that difficult. Cheers my mate. Nice1

Traced all the colours to the correct fitting, from inside the light, into the loom, to the plug, into the cars loom,
Jobs a goodun, it worked, theyre all in the correct position,
So the lights are working as they should.
Thanks for te input fellas.
Well happy with the results.
