Seriously, how did this happen? I used to be happy accepting the fact that you could get up in the afternoon at a weekend. Then the baby came along and BOOM!! You will class 8am as a lie in daddy, AND you'll like it!

I worked last night and finished at 3:30, although didn't get in until 6 as we stayed on for drinks and laughter. Only got up an hour ago.

Only about twelve years to go nige til she realises that slobbing in bed til 2pm is a good thing :grin:

i normally get up at 6.30am for work on a week day and at the week ends my body clock gets me up at roughly the same time. Grrr damn you body clock, damn you to hell!

I get up at 6:45am for work, but at the weekends my body clocks seems to know better. Once the other half is up with the baby though I feel guilty lying in :grin:

Same here. Was wide awake at 7am yesterday morning :sad:
Managed a small lie in this morning though!!

You have a child, you have no choice.
This week our 2 kids (3.5yrs and 20months) have been waking us up between 6:30 and 7am.
When ever possible, we've been taking turns giving each other the chance for a lie-in. If you do the early morning one day, then she can do the early morning the next and you can have a much more guilt free lie-in. :wink:
