Title: Advice on amp in MK3

Hi guys- I have recently replaced my speakers with Alpine 1725S and they are a great improvement, however I am only running them off my Sony head unit which is 4x52W and the sound distorts at the higher volume.

Is it worth getting an amp installed, or is the difference not worth it- I'm not too interested in getting a sub as boot is small enough!

If you want to be able to play your music loud without distortion then yes. However the speakers you have wouldn't benefit that much as they're only 40w RMS
