Anybody got an idea of what price I should ask for my green golf as it stands?
Duno if I can be arssed to break it now.
Mot runs out in 3 weeks
And taxes till end of sep.
Will need a bit of welding not a lot
Need 1 rear tyre
Small blow from downpipe but have another give with car
Brake servo I think needs replacing
Has brand new coilys
Just a rough idea really as I would rather just sell to somebody that wants the hole car.

£400 but be prepared to take an offer.

With next to no MOT or tax and in need of welding you'll struggle to sell it at all. There's one in classifieds without rust but no MOT or tax that failed MOT on cracked screen, corroded brake lines and 2 tyres and he's after offers over £145.
You'll be much better off breaking it

yeah i see what your saying i was just trying to get a rough idea so i no weather or not to bother breaking it or not.

Some one I know paid £330 for a 5dr without MOT and in much worse shape than yours so I'd personally put it up for £400 for starters, you can always lower it if no one bites.

Break it, you will see a lot more money.

Well second hand car market is bad at the moment, which is great if your looking to buy but rubbish if you're trying to sell. How much do you reckon you'd get by breaking it?
Work that out and then have a look on eBay at completed listings at around that value, see what kind of car has sold for a similar value and that should give you a good idea of what to do
