So I'm looking at doing some shopping for the vr6 in the next few weeks... Starting with the suspension!
Been looking online at prices... I'm very keen on the fk power high tech adjustable lowering kit (yes I know it's not a coil over kit) so rang up Venom Motorsport yesterday and had a chat with one of the guys... He kinda pushed me toward the coilovers, the fk high sports... Now I have budget coil overs on the car at the min and for lack of a better term they are sh!t! But granted they only cost £170 so can't expect much from them!
My concern is I'm gonna end up with a car that feels the same but I will have paid out three times the price!
So does anyone have these on there car at the moment that can offer some advise?

Got them n my vr and have joms on my gti. The vr rides better and handles better.
But also my gti on the joms is a lot lower. So it will be worse.
The fk's are worth it mate but no matter what you buy, if you go low as possible it will ruin the ride and handling

Tweed, that's exactly the feed back I was looking for! Also mate have you fitted the fro t upper and lower strut bar? Think they need to be on my shopping list...

lower is pointless as the subframe on mk3's is huge!
only need a upper if you get eibach anti roll bars
get the anti roll bars first, you will notice a difference. You won't notice anything from strut brace

I got FK konigsports and they are great! :smug:
But a tad more expensive!
