This is random question but does the throttle cable come out of the bulkhead in the same place on all mk3's?
I need to replace my throttle cable on my gti that has had a vr6 engine put in it
My car still has the gti cable in i think and its to long! i have about an inch of slack on the cable!
I went to vw and the abf and aaa have different cables
Cheers Rob

The throttle body will be in different places because they are totally different engines!!!!!!
Get a vr6 one
And then think about what your asking so you don't make yourself look stupid!

I know they are 2 different engines! and in different places!
No need for the sarcasm! I read that the vr6 throttle cable is longer than the abf one that is why i asked! my abf one is to long though! maybe very over stretched!
Do you know if the abf on is longer or shorter! there was more to the question wasnt there!!!
thanks for your in put though keyboard warrior!

Thank you bud, i know it sounds like a stupid question but they might just bring it the drivers side also for some reason
I will order a vr cable because i doubt the cable has been changed when the engine was done
