Title: on my 2001 bora - pin comes up and down with central locking but door wont open?

hi all, got this really wierd problem wondering if any of you could help :sad:

basically bought this 2001 bora cheap, needs a few bits and peices, the main problem ive got is that the window wouldnt go down on the passenger side. i took it apart, fibreglassed the clip back together and it now works fine.

then left it with the doorcard off, tried opening the door later on and the door wont open inside or out, theres no resistance on the handle like the doors locked, but the pin goes up and down fine?

googled it and it says to push the cable in to reduce the resistance, tried that to no avail. i know these are a common fault on the polos as i had to smash one out before, but it must be something ive done??? any ideas :sick:

It could be the door module mate, very common symptom and sounds to be that if im honest!
Might not be anything you've done personally as they tend to just randomly go.
