I literally could murder someone, I am boiling with rage!
Someone has reversed into the back of my car while it was parked outside my house and its not just a scuff on the bumper, it literally has chunks of paint missing all the way along and 2 big lines close to each end!!
It is metallic paint and not easy to just touch up and i am just far too angry to even think about the cost of spraying the bumper.
how do you deal with these sorts of things? This is my problem, if I have a car that I love I get so protective over it, when I catch someone opening a car door into it or brushing past it with bags or something I am going to end up breaking their legs!
GGRRRRRRRR
thanks for listening to my rant! :embarassed:

i feel tour pain. i get the same way with my car. do you know who did it?
-
my partner said he saw a fiesta parked right up against it almost touching the other night but as i didnt see them hit it i dont think this justifies me scratching the crap out of it in retaliation. there is no coloured paint on the back of it just gauges out of my paint so i can even narrow it down
im on maternity leave at the moment so money is tight and i just cant afford to get it sprayed. everytime i look at it im just raging! why are people so god damn inconsiderate?!
-
My money's on that fiesta then.
Go inspect the usual cars that park nearby and check for similar damage is all I can suggest.

Is this the MK3? You could just get a 2nd hand bumper for sod all but I know that's not the point. I go crazy when someone disrespects my car but fortunately I've never had to deal with this! If my V70 got damaged I'd probably kill someone!
Here's a bumper in Devon, you could get it for £20-25 I would imagine. A problem with getting there for it though  As suggested, check out the neighbouring cars for damage.

and if you find damage nitro morse is your friend hahaha. just kidding. (possibly)

i prob could find another bumper round where i live as there is a vw breakers nearby but then thats a whole load of hassle for me to take it off and change it and £30 out of pocket. I could probably repair this one fairly easily but with it being metallic its a pain, if it was plain red or white i would just flick over it with a spray can!
ive only just bought this mk3 cabrio and was so proud of how far its come in the week or so ive had it, i spent ages polishing it all and blacking all the trim and now this happens.
a little story, not that im proud of myself but...
an inconsiderate neighbour once parked over my driveway a little. (long story, he kept saying it wasnt a legal drive but it was...) anyway, he had gone out and left his car in the way so i tried to carefully edge out with my mk1 golf and ended up taking a chunk out of the rear quarter panel on my wall
that was it, the rage took over, so i got in my 4.0 Jeep Cherokee, put a tow rope on the front of his car and dragged it out into the middle of the road! lol.
The guy called the Police coz there was big black tyre marks where i had dragged it but the Police just told me off because I hadnt actually damaged his car!
 it did make me chuckle watching his face as he returned and saw his car in the middle of the road!!

ha ha ha thats something i'd do. we have loads of 4x4's kicking about just incase anything needs a little push out the way.
-
So far my cabrio has been keyed down both sides front to back and a plant pot complete with conifer into it across the bonnet, given up??? NO!!!
From cleaning up the car to restyling the whole car, I needed a bonnet so instead Vento front end and to repair scratch with a total respray at the end of the year.
If I found out who did it to my car I'd shake them by the hand and tell them thanks for giving me the idea to improve the car and make something special out of it, how better to give the low life scum the bird

depends what car they dent and if there thingys about it tbh
reaction would vary between not giveing a f**k through PU foam / adhesive and more

Pumped straight between the door panel gaps and in the tailpipe I hope?
