Title: turbo blown help

a mate of mine is turbo has gone on is agu i belive its a k03 can he just bolt on the k03s and job done???
or will he need parts to suite an agu & will he need a remap??
any help would be great.

whole new turbo plus parts to boot i believe, depends if you want new or used, scrappy is your best bet i recon

hes got is hands on a k03s cheap but hes unsure if there a bolt on bolt off job or lots of extras to buy

Bolt on mate, You need a silicone turbo intake pipe thats all unless he uses the turbo intake pipe off the K03s.

Failing that Iv got a very strong K03 for sale with no cracks etc as iv upgraded to k03s.

K03 to K03s is easy and bolt on but would benefit from remap.

thanks for the info mate i will let him know its a bolt on job. he already has the k03s so i shell tell him to get it fitted.
so with the k03s fitted what bhp may he get ??? as i have k03s sitting here would it be worth me changing mine ??

just rang him he dont have a intake pipe anyone have a link where he could get one from??

Ebay, type in 1.8t turbo intake pipe. Agu can use either agu silicone tip or aum/auq.
Typically a remapped AGU with ko3s wud see around 220bhp.
