Title: Help lowering the back of a mk4 more!
Post by: bigphil92 on 15 August 2012, 15:07
Hey guys, this has probably been asked so many times but i have found no solutions anywhere  how can you lower the rear more because i am down all the way with no adjusters on the back but the fuel tank side sits about 5-10mm lower and i want to lower the left side to match...

any ideas?

or is there a way of just lowering all the back as much as possible? ha

does anyone know any secret tips that lower the back of a mk4 more? has anyone ever tried trimming down the rear spring rubber mounts that sit at the top of the spring?

If the adjusters are out, your only real options are cutting springs (which I wouldn't want to be doing) or air

oi dom! haha was still neck and neck with yours and i had you off the line with my linlong tyres haha :) , years time its gonna be like super clean!! trust me 170, 180k its not gonna be showroom condition like yours :) no it doesnt bang or anything with the cups removed, if i stand my key up you can slide it under the subframe or any of the chassis its running very low and the ride isnt too bad to be honest!
