no prob me classing it incorrectly , its hard to describe thats why i ve not posted till now lol
i am classing taxing as the engine seams to incress in noise with turning, no extra revs etc just sound.

Could be a pump problem if the fluid is ok.

the level is perfect in teh dipstick and as i can see the pumps not spinning when engines running so i presume dead pump

I have had a huge FAIL was tiered and pissed off when i looked in to the engine bay this morning, its not seized . . . i was looking at the Air Con pump . . . . when i tun it on that turns lol
Anyway the sound isn't as bad now just been out for a pat number for the pump, so even more confused with this problem now lol

Im confused myself now, so have you looked at the power steering fluid level? Its the green cap with the steering wheel on and you need to undo it with a screwdriver body as opposed to the end of the screwdriver

Power steering pressure switch knackered? Sounds like its the pump though.... Easy enough job to replace.
