Title: How hard is it to fit coilovers?
Post by: magsmagsmags on 14 August 2012, 21:20
As titled really.

I know the back suspension is relatively easy to change, but what's the front like?
I'm not new to tinkering with cars, usually do services, discs, pads etc myself but haven't attempted suspension before.

If you have a decent trolley jack or some good axle stands it is relatively easy.

I have all the necessary tools, apart from the vw specific spline splitter.
how long would you say it takes? did you need two people?

Rears are easy but fronts are more of a pain in the arse. especially the drivers side!
