I imagine the cops got tired of walking after him...

They should have done it the British way. Spent 3 million pounds looking for him. Fail to do anything. Then spend another million getting him again. Lock him up for 2 weeks, let him out to repeat his offences.. then spend another couple of million sending him in and out of prison. An who knows if he is really lucky, they will fail to check his attic.
Don't f**k about.

When we were in NY last year we walked over to a cop to ask for directions. As we walked up to him and his partner they saw us walking towards them and straight away moved their hands to their guns. We straight away had to put our hands up to show that we didnt mean any harm and just wanted to know how to get somewhere.
The argument of Americas gun-ho culture is for another day I think.
Speaking of guns check out these bad boys we saw outside the stock exchange, they were NOT impressed and having their photo taken with us but we moved so fast they didnt have a chance to say no :D :D

What I find confusing is he 'lunged at officers' yet they fired by my count 5 shots...
I fire weapons on a regular basis,no one can miss from point blank range!! It's ott but in my honest opinion, the right to self defence is a necessary one....all be it 'minimum force' here in the uk,I prefer the American approach.
The uk is far too soft on criminals!!!
