Hello all,
I sold my white mk1 campaign A799ASC back in about 2004 and have regretted it ever since. According to DVLA it hasn't been taxed since 2005 but I have been unable to get any more information about the car. I thought this forum, and all of your knowledge, might help bring me closer to my old campaign..
We may never be reunited and for this reason I'm also on the hunt for a low mileage, ideally restored mk1 GTi. I've been saving for a while and now the time has come to commit myself to the right car.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Many thanks,
Andy

If it's not declared SORN then I think you'll have to except that it's goner... You could try the mk1 owners club, you never know.
Good luck with finding a decent replacement though.
