Title: mk5 5 door rear quarter window

hi all. can anyone give me any ideas on how to change the rear door quarter glass please? my insurance want £100 excess to replace but iv managed to get the glass cheaper so i can do it myself. any tips,advice will be greatly appreciated! thanks guys

You'd most likely be better off taking the glass to a fitter, buying the sealant and getting a cutter to get the old one out will probably set you back a few quid.

Plus there is always the chance you'll mess it up. :undecided:

thanks for your advice jimble. as far as im aware the rear quarter isnt bonded it fits in the door seal. very fiddly but doable. cheers anyway
