Title: Dodo Juice Red Mist
Post by: dubber36 on 13 August 2012, 12:39
On the bottle it says "Do not apply over fresh wax"

How long should I leave it? A day, a week, until it's had it's first wash?

Whats your views on Red mist dubber? I would leave the wax on for a day then use quick detailers

I like it for a quick bit of extra gloss at a show Steve.

I have just detailed my Mum and Dad's new car whist they were on holiday. The dealers had done a shocking job. I really shouldn't have to clay a new car, should I?. I topped it off with 2 layers of Collinite 476S a couple of days ago and it's been in the garage ever since. I just thought I might freshen it up again before they get home tomorrow.

I agree. But the tropical stuff smells so damn good

I won't be buying any more it. I use it after a 'weekly' wash to give that extra shine, and it does well at giving shine for not much effort.

I'd leave it a day or 2, no need to use it every other day though, once a week top or just when ever you wash it.

I've got nearly a full bottle of the tropical stuff, i wasn't that impressed tbh, it smears quite badly unless it's buffed really well which imo makes it a bit pointless as i'd be as well just waxing it again!

Plus the spray head was knackered after the second spray which is common apparently!

I agree with ya, said in an earlier post it needs to be buffed to get rid of the haze/holograms, the DJ final buff cloths are good for that but like i say, it kind of defeats the object of a QD if you have spend ages buffing?! May as well just wax....
