that looks amazing! The focus stacking looks particularly good!

Shame my ancient 20D isn't supported

It's really good. The intervalometer is brilliant and the bulb timer makes it easier to do astro stuff.

The 160 ISO setting is great too. All of the multiples of 160 are less noisy than their closest lower setting.

Well worth trying.

My 500D is now running on it - went up like a charm.  Now I just have to figure out how to use all the stuff.  The auto HDR sounds interesting.

Had to do this first:

Yeah, mine needed a firmware update too...

You can actually shoot video in HDR as well which could be pretty useful.

I think there's a lot of learning needs to be done around this!

I was hoping it might enable aperture control in video on the 500D.  Nope.

Stuff like the integrated intervalometer is going to be SO handy.

H'mmmmm, lived with this for a little while and had a couple of completely dead battery grips already.

Reading up, it seems like this is an issue, so I may roll back.  There's nothing worse than picking up the camera to find it's dead, especially after I'd started to specifically turn it off after the first incident.

I've had that happen a couple of times too.

Oh well, looks like it's time to invest in an intervalometer.

Nearly got my five batteries back charged up now.

I can accept a lot of things with something that brings a load of new features to a camera, but a BIG issue like this I'm not prepared to accept.

Especially for a "stable" public release.
