Hi.
I recently purchased a MK4 GT TDI 110 for not a lot of money at all considering. It's done 142k, has fsh almost all main dealer, cambelt done at 102k interior is spot on. Only downside is the lack of lacquer on the roof and bonnet but I'm not too fussed about cosmetics.
The car cost me £500 so I don't want to throw mega money at it but a little more "go" would be nice.
I emailed Rtech but I had no reply, maybe it got lost amongst my junk mail.
I just wanted to know if it's worth remapping a car with such high mileage? What kind of gain to expect? I've read between 130 and 160bhp, is this realistic? Do I need to make any other modifications before having it done? What would be the damage to MPG if any? And most importantly, what would be the damage to my wallet?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
The 110 AHF & ASV engines uses the older mechanical pump fuel delivery and the by remapping you will get close on 140bhp, but by fitting .216 nozzles. and a custom remap should see you closer to 160+bhp, for more power you will need a bigget turbo and remap to match.

Are 216 nozzles easy to fit? Any guides to do this?
Thank you for the replies! 160bhp sounds good to me.
What kind of price am I looking at for a custom remap Rtech?
Edit:- Just found a guide for changing injectors, not as simple as I thought it might be.
